The bronze grand staircase is a preeminent interior architectural feature in the impressive and spacious main showroom of the former Auburn Automobile Company, circa 1930.

Today, it is the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. It is a fine example of art deco industrial design--moderne, symmetrical, and theatrically aesthetic. The entire bronze stair metalwork is comprised of 80 identical rail components, each of them reminiscent of Hollywood lights beaming skyward as if announcing a premier event. Gentle curves at the base and U curves at the top of the staircase soften its otherwise machine-age presence and construction.

These lovely etched and beaded chandelier-type earrings duplicate the streamlined sophistication of the Golden Age of Transportation and metalwork of the era.

They are uniquely designed for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum by David Howell and Associates, a jewelry designer of distinction who works exclusively with museums across the country. Your choice of Black or Gold.
