Our newest addition to our coin collection features the
1926 Auburn 8-88 Roadster.
The 8-88 series was introduced in 1925 as the first line of Auburns developed under the direction of E. L. Cord. Mr. Cord was not satisfied with a mere up-to-date design; he wanted to establish Auburn as a marque of distinction. The original price for this beauty was $1,695 in 1926. Babe Ruth even received a 1926 Roadster as a gift! Make sure you check this car out on the third floor next time you visit.
All coins are antiqued with dual plating of gold and silver on a 3mm military brass stamping. Side A shows the beautiful orange and cream 1926 Auburn. Side B is a 3d sculptured rendering of our historic building with our antiqued silver logo.
These coins are numbered, have a signed certificate of authenticity, come in a plastic capsule and an orange velvet bag to match the car.
You may request a special number (if available) or the same number for each of the future coin sets. Contact us for more information.
