The name Pierce-Arrow was once one of the most recognized and respected names in the automobile industry. For 38 years (1901-1938), the Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Company in Buffalo, New York, produced some of the finest automobiles made. Pierce-Arrows were large, expensive and beautifully built vehicles. During their production years, Pierce-Arrows could be found anywhere the rich and powerful worked and played. For over 20 years, Pierce-Arrow supplied cars to the White House for presidential use. They also supplied cars to the royal families of Japan, Greece, Saudi Arabia and Belgium. This 44,000-original-mile limousine was owned by the Huntington family, who were owners of a railroad and railway empire. Note the formal yet elegant presence of this vehicle.
